The week of violence that Christians endured in Orissa is heartbreaking. My understanding is that things have cooled down some, but prayers are needed even more as Christians must now choose their response to evil, hatred, and violence. I have no idea what will happen to all the people who have had their homes burned down. Pray that they will choose love - that we will choose love when faced with hate.

Thank you for praying! It is easy to say we are blessed because we are not facing this persecution, but of course the Bible says differently and promises blessing for these who have had everything taken from them.
