Tonight I got two presents.
My husband came home from Hyderabad early. A huge surprise, and much enjoyed as Simon needs someone to run around with him and "shoot baskets." And I need someone to make me breakfast in the morning.
He brought with him another gift that he spent his whole trip working on. He took my senior paper, a 30-page academic paper on God's Covenant with Noah that I wrote in April, 2000, and retyped it. He knew I only had a hard copy, and he wanted me to have one on disk. A true labor of love, and a well-thought out one at that, since he brought it with him from America a year ago with this plan in place.
I love him for knowing I need him. And I love him for believing I'm brilliant.
